Teaching methods
Short theoretical introduction with practical examples followed by an e-learning application and simulation game using SCRUM method.
Assessment methods
Exam. The evaluation depends on the result of the completed tasks in the e-learning application. It is possible to add points from the written test (will take place during the last lecture). The fulfilment of the task in the e-learning application at the minimum required level is mandatory. The test is not mandatory, but points are added to the overall score. To pass the course without writing the test, it is necessary to complete the task in the e-learning application at an above-average level.
Points from the task in the e-learning application = 30 .. 100 points
(about 67 points will be the level of quality of the game corresponding to the median of the results of all who will complete the task in the course. The evaluation of the quality of the task is therefore relative to "medium quality". The level of 30 points corresponds to the minimum possible successful completion of the task, ie the completion of the house within the implementation part of the e-learning application, although with significant non-compliance with deadlines and costs.)
Test points = 0 to 50 points
Grades: A = 120+ points B = 110..119 C = 100..109 D = 90..99 E = 80..89
Any copying, recording or leaking tests, use of unauthorized tools, aids and communication devices, or other disruptions of objectivity of exams (credit tests) will be considered non-compliance with the conditions for course completion as well as a severe violation of the study rules. Consequently, the teacher will finish the exam (credit test) by awarding grade "F" in the Information System, and the Dean will initiate disciplinary proceedings that may result in study termination.

Teacher's information
The subject consists of four learning blocks. The introductory block will primarily have the form of a lecture that will introduce the basic principles of project management. In addition, it will include examples to test the methods described, as well as project experience. At the end, the advice on the task will be provided within the planning phase of the e-learning application.

The second block will have a significantly shorter part of the lecture and will be more focused on practical testing of some selected more complex project management methods. At the end, there will be presented advice on the implementation phase of the task related to the e-learning application.

The third block will deal with the interconnection of the content of the e-learning task with the presented content and theory of project management (reflection of acquired experience in relation to reality). In addition, information on project management certifications IPMA, PRINCE2, PMI and SCRUM (including personal experience from these certifications) will be discussed.

The last fourth block will be devoted to the evaluation of tasks related to the e-learning application and the ability to write an exam test, the points of which will be added to the points for the quality of the task in the e-learning application. If there will be enough candidates, there will also be the possibility to complete the Lego Scrum Agile simulation game.

The course is also listed under the following terms Spring 2023, Spring 2025.
