The course is open only in case of a visit of a guest lecturer/professor at Econ Muni. If no such visit is planned, the maximum capacity of the course is set to 1 student. In this case, students should not enroll in this course.

Course objectives
This course is tought by guest (external) lecturers who came to ESF MU to offer an intensive course focused on specific issues in the field of business management. The lecturers are usually experts from foreign universities or from major companies.
In the course, students will broaden or deepen their knowledge and skills in a specific topic in the field of business management.
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to:
- explain the basic concepts from the selected field of business management,
- apply the acquired knowledge in business practice.
Syllabus
  • The content of the course is set by the guest lecturer and is available in the Interactive syllabus in IS.
Teaching methods
Presentation, discussion, model situations, individual/group assignment.
Assessment methods
Student should participate in at least 80% of the course and complete the assignments set by the lecturer. The assignments are published before the start of the course in the Study Materials in IS.

In the case of an internship abroad, the students may take this course only if they can participate in the class in the same way as other students. In this case, the same rules apply as for other students.

Any plagiarism in assignments during the semester, and copying, keeping a record of tests or carrying the tests out, using forbidden aids including any communication devices or any other breach of objectivity of the exam is regarded as a failure to meet the obligations of the course and as a serious breach of study regulations. As a consequence, the teacher grades the student with "F" or "N" and the dean is allowed to initiate a disciplinary action, which might lead to the termination of the studies.

Information on course enrolment limitations: Předmět otvírán pouze v případě přítomnosti hostujícího lektora/profesora. Předmět může být vypsán i v průběhu semestru a studenti si jej mohou zapisovat i mimo období zápisu. Předmět je možné si zapsat opakovaně. Pohyblivá kreditová hodnota: 1-4 ECTS.
Teacher's information
A course is only offered if there is an external lecturer at the faculty in particular semester. It can also be announced during the semester. It is possible to enroll in the course repeatedly. The ECTS value of the course is based on the length and difficulty of the course in particular semester (1 ECTS = 30 hours of workload).

In case of 9 or less enrolled students, the course can be canceled.
