Course objectives
Microeconomics II (PEMIK2) This intermediate level course builds on the basics of microeconomics. Main objectives can be summarized as follows:
to deepen the knowledge of the consumer behaviour;
detailed analysis of the firm behaviour in different types of market structures;
to acquire detailed knowledge of principles of demand and supply side creation on the input markets;
to deepen the knowledge of market mechanism principles, and the possibility of market failures;
to acquire necessary knowledge for the master's degree and as a prerequisite for taking up doctoral economic orientation.
