- Course objectives
- The subject uses students' knowledge acquired from previous courses during the university education and gives them large space for independent special work.
Main objectives are:
to obtain knowledge of microeconomic conception of the labour market;
to obtain knowledge of macroeconomic conception of the labour market;
to analyse the labour market and unemployment in the theoretic economic thinking;
to understand the relation of theory and labour policy;
to analyse the segmentation of the labour market;
to obtain basic knowledge of human capital theory;
to recognize types of labour market mobility;
to understand the development of the labour market in the Czech Republic;
to compare the development of the labour market in the Czech Republic with the situation in other European countries.
