- Course objectives
- The course is aimed at enhancing knowledge of banking sector, concretely in the field of bank management. Its content and structure have been prepared from perspective of bank management, management of bank balance sheet, expenses and revenues, foundations of banking marketing with more detailed focus on individual risk management of banking business. Students will gain general overview of bank management. Completion of basic courses is therefore necessary, because the experience gained there are used in Bank Economy and Management course.

- Teaching methods
- Attendance at lectures, submission of semester paper (POT), self-correction tests, check tests, final written test and exam.
- Assessment methods
- 1. POT 1-2 -Elaboration and submission of work corrected by tutor (POT) in accordance with the timetable as evidential result of students´ preparation within study hour. 2. Final evaluation of the results of work on the tutorials and study hour. - Participation in the test is successful processing of all POTs with result of pass - Another requirement is successful completion of check tests, which is achieved rating of 66% or more (2 / 3 or more). - If a student cannot attend test (apologies will be judged by teacher), writes it on 3rd tutorial (in case of first test), or during first two weeks of exam period (in case of second test). 3. Exam and final evaluation: - Exam is written. Final mark consists of: Evaluation of the written test (80%) + final evaluation of student work during study hour - POTs, tests - (20%) - To evaluate performance of students, the following scale (common to full-time and combined studies) is applied: A 92 - 100% B 84 - 91% C 76 - 83% D 68 - 75% E 60 - 67% F less than 60%
