Course objectives
Main aim of this course is understand and master fundamental theoretical know ledges and practical virtuosity necessary for description and for design digital systems. The lessons are specialized in particular into following topics:
- logical algebra and function;
- design of the combination circuits;
- design of the sequential circuits;
- structural components and cores of the digital systems.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students will be able to:
analyze advanced digital system using logical algebra
design kernel for digital systems
Student bude po absolvování předmětu schopen:
- sestavit model činnosti kombinačních a sekvenčních obvodů;
- formálně popsat strukturu kombinačních a sekvenčních obvodů;
- navrhnout schéma kombinačních a sekvenčních obvodů;
- minimalizovat strukturu kombinačních obvodů podle různých kritérií;
- modelovat hazardy v kombinačních obvodech;
- navrhovat opatření pro eleminaci hazardů kombinačních obvodů.

Teacher's information
The course is divided into theoretical and practical part. The practical part is discussed in the course PB170, which runs parallel and takes place on hardware and software in the Laboratory of Architecture and design of digital systems - A415. All use of documentation and tutorials are available only in English.
