Key topics
Students are assigned to sports clubs, associations, or other sports organizations, where they carry out their practice under the supervision of a designated instructor or manager. During the internship, emphasis is placed on professional competence, the ability to work collaboratively within a team, and the capacity to independently complete assigned tasks. Depending on the club’s possibilities, students may be involved in organizing sports or club events, including preparation, coordination, and evaluation, in the club’s communication via the website, social media, or information for parents and members, in recruiting new members or managing the membership base, in preparing materials for the club’s management decisions, and in analyzing a selected area of the club’s operations with suggestions for potential improvements. The internship also encourages students to demonstrate initiative, for example, by seeking sponsors, submitting grant applications, or proposing their own improvements, while the specific tasks are always adapted to the capabilities and characteristics of the organization. The internship is designed to provide meaningful learning experiences for students, develop their skills, and at the same time deliver tangible benefits to the sports organization.
