Abstract
Basic terminology of adult education will be introduced in the course. The course brings the knowledge about application of the principles of andragogy into the education and training in the security bodies.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to: - define androdidactics - interprete conditions for adult education - apply the principles of andragogy into the education and training in the security bodies

Approaches, practices, and methods used in teaching
Lecture, seminar work.
Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
Students will develop a self-defense course project by the end of May according to the assignment. Failure to submit the project by the deadline will result in an "X" grade. Theoretical knowledge is assessed by a written exam.
