- Course objectives
- Teaching this course is to provide students the opportunity to gain knowledge of buildings and structures human musculoskeletal system that are needed for the study of related subjects.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to: describe the anatomical structures of the human musculoskeletal system; explain the functions of individual parts of the locomotor system; and use this knowledge to create an integral view of human musculoskeletal system.
- Syllabus
- Introduction to Anatomy - cell, tissue, terminology. Bones - structure types. Axial skeleton (skull, spine, pelvis), upper limb skeleton, skeleton legs. Connection of bones, joints - Components, types, movements, individual joints. Muscles - structure, component types. Muscles of the head, neck, back and abdomen (including motor function). The muscles of the upper extremity, lower extremity muscles (including motor function).
