- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to obtain knowledge and motor skills for solving conflict situation based on force on force principle.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course student should be able to: - define self-defence and its place in the taxonomy of combatives - understand the difference between training and performance in combatives sports and self-defence - describe basic self-defence concepts - explain legal limits of self-defence - show basic self-defence techniques according to subject curriculum - understand and apply basic strategical, tactical and technical principles of self-defence - solve basic model self-defence situation

- 1. Definition of self-defence and its place in the taxonomy of combatives 2. Legal aspects of self-defence 3. Preparation and performance in self-defence 4. Principles of self-defence training 5. Psychological preparation in self-defence 6. Strategy and tactics in self-defence 7. Technical means of self-defence 8. Conditioning in self-defence 9. Particularity of self-defence for women 10. Model self-defence situation with all kind of attacks
