Course objectives
The content content of the subject is within the school environment and specific teaching units application of research methods to analyze and evaluate the teaching unit of physical education from the point of view of teacher and pupil. The subject is also focused on acquaintance with the environment of the school, school legislation, pedagogical-didactic and educational activities of the teacher, and gaining experience in teaching physical education with individual and group reflection.
Learning outcomes
After successful completion of the course the student is able to:
-focus on the acquired knowledge in practical and theoretical   field of basic education;
-applycation of the theoretical-pedagogical-didactic knowledge in practice   ;
-use some empirical research methods to the analysis and assessment   unit teaching physical education from the perspective of   pupil, teacher, teacher-pupil interactions (observation and analysis of educational interaction, video analysis, chronometráž, measuring the intensity of the load of pupils) ;
-evaluate the educational activities of physical education teachers ;
-understand educational policy, school organization and process of instruction in the classroom ;
-orient themselves in the school legislation and work with school documentation ;
-on the basis of acquired knowledge to plan, build and lead almost an hour of physical education (output short) ;
-conduct individual and group reflection ;
discuss the video and then describe the problem areas and propose solutions ;

Student gets "starting competence" for the teaching profession and on the basis of learning from experience  , creates "growth competence".
Syllabus
  • 1. monitoring personality and teaching skills of teachers, verbal and nonverbal expression, organizational skills teachers, monitoring activities and motivation of pupils and ensure safety in physical education class  ;
  • 2. short teaching on a given topic
  • 3. measuring the effectiveness of teaching units;
  • 4. measuring the intensity of the load of students in physical education class  ;
  • 5. monitoring methods used educational teachers;
  • 6. school documentation: primary schools, secondary schools;
  • 7. monitoring methods used in teaching physical education class  ;

- The application of research methods, data processing and evaluation
- Preparing written home for a short teaching
- Practical management of the physical education lesson
- Presentation of school documentation
- 100% attendance at seminars

The course is graded credit completed.
