Key topics
At the beginning of the course, we will deal with the theoretical part of the issue of self-defense, specifically the theory of self-defense and its legislation will be explained. The practical part of the course will begin with training in basic techniques, such as developing a basic self-defense stance and confident walking. The practical part will also include an analysis of correct communication in a conflict situation and the distance between the defender and the attacker during a potential conflict situation. We will also focus on specific self-defense techniques without the use of defensive aids, such as defensive techniques against grabs and holds. During the exercise, we will also focus on basic punching and kicking techniques. At the end of the course, the instructors will test the participants. Model situations will take place with a predetermined scenario and role distribution, thanks to which the instructors will evaluate how well the participants have mastered the techniques and methods that were shown to them during the course. Then, in the last phase of the self-defense course, a short discussion will take place and the instructors will have the opportunity to answer the participants' questions.
