Abstract

The course focuses on acquiring the fundamentals of basics gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics, including both theoretical knowledge and practical application.

In the Basic Gymnastics section, students learn gymnastics terminology, graphic movement notation, methodology and didactics of warm-up activities, the use of mobility, coordination, and toning exercises, principles of stretching and bodyweight strengthening, and how to provide constructive feedback.

In the Rhythmic Gymnastics section, students become familiar with the basics of music and movement education (rhythm, tempo, meter, beat), the role of music in physical activities, and the development of coordination and motor memory. They also learn basic dance elements, steps, jumps, and turns, create short movement sequences, explore different dance styles, apply music accompaniment in sports and physical activities, and develop rope-skipping skills synchronized with music.
