Abstract
Learning outcomes is to apply acquired theoretical knowledge to clinical practice, make students familiar with the work of physiotherapist in professional medical workplaces. Students participate actively in diagnostic-therapeutic procesess in patients, work under professional supervision of physiotherapist.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to:
- work as a member of a medical team in a medical facility;
- practical application of basic diagnostic-therapeutic procedures in rehabilitation treatment in patients in inpatient health facilities;
- reflecting on the short and long term goals of therapy.
They will become familiar with the operation and specifics of medical facilities (hospitals).

  • The summer course consists of 4 weeks practice in range of 210 lessons (160 hours). The practice takes place at agreed hospitals.

Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements

The course is completed by obtaining course credit. To be awarded the credit, it is necessary to follow the instructions provided in the Interactive Course Syllabus.

Conditions for obtaining course credit:

  • 100% attendance at the pre-arranged and approved practical training

  • Submission of the following documents to the IS MU system: Confirmation of Internship Completion and Consent with Student Placement at the Internship Site

  • Completion of the self-evaluation questionnaire

  • Completed evaluation questionnaires from the supervisors/mentors

  • Preparation of a case report based on the practical training experience
