Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide a comprehensive overview of the principles and foundations applied in physiotherapy, which form the basis of various concepts and methods. The course focuses on expanding knowledge and practical skills in the field of physiotherapy, with an emphasis on modern therapeutic approaches, neurorehabilitation, ergonomics, balneology, and the specifics of working with different patient groups. Through lectures and seminars, students are systematically introduced to both the theoretical background and the practical application of various methods and concepts used in contemporary rehabilitation.
Learning outcomes
Objectives and Outcomes:
- Mastering the theoretical foundations and practical skills of modern physiotherapeutic approaches, including neurorehabilitation, stretching, and relaxation techniques.
- Familiarization with concepts such as DNS, Vojta Method, PNF, Bobath Concept, and other therapeutic procedures when working with different types of patients.
- Acquiring skills for evaluating ergonomic conditions in the workplace and preventing musculoskeletal disorders. Gaining an overview of the potential applications of balneology.
- Developing clinical reasoning and the ability to perform diagnostics, testing, and therapeutic interventions in the field of physiotherapy.
