Course objectives
The main goal of the course is to familiarize students with the basic concepts, models and theories that allow understanding the variability of sexual expression.
Learning outcomes
After successful completion of the course, the student will: • know basic sexological terms, theoretical approaches relevant to the study of sexuality, and factors that influence sexual experience, behavior and attitudes. • understand selected theoretical approaches and methodological procedures relevant to the investigation of sexual experience, behavior and attitudes. • have a critical apparatus for understanding various topics related to human sexuality • have the ability to apply the acquired knowledge in psychological practice, e.g. in the field of partner counseling
