- At the end of the course students should be able to
- design and realize a research project in the area of psychotherapy
- assess critically a research project and a research report
- implement research into clinical practice
- Syllabus
- Introduction, Orlinsky's generic model of psychotherapy, overview of research designs, research question, research project requisites, diploma thesis
- Experimental designs
- Correlational designs (esp. process-outcome studies)
- Intensive process studies (event paradigm, task analysis etc.)
- Qualitative research (thematic analysis)
- Case studies; collaborative principle in research
- Presentation of students' own projects
