- Course objectives
- Students will gain understanding of the basic concepts of statistics, ability to apply statistics in different stages of quantitative social policy and social work research with focus on data analysis and interpretation. Students will be strenghtened in their ability to oraly present gained knowledge.

- Teaching methods
- Students will learn selected methods to analyse data, in PC labs they will analyse data from the field of social policy and socialwork, they will learn SPSS statistical package.

- two individual midterm exams on data analysis using SPSS group presentation of hypothesis test in SPSS final individual oral exam on understanding the basic concepts
