Course objectives (in Czech)
The purpose of this course is to equip students with an understanding of important issues and theories in positive psychology.
Learning outcomes (in Czech)
By the end of the course, students will be able to: • Articulate selected, key components of positive psychology • Critically assess studies and interventions designed to improve well-being • Apply techniques to foster positive change in their own lives and in the lives of others.
Teaching methods (in Czech)
Course consists of 10 lectures. Students are expected to complete readings prior to class and be ready for group discussion.
Assessment methods (in Czech)
Students' grades will be based on participation in class, a 7-10 minute in-class presentation, and an APA style final essay (5-8 pages).
