- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to teach students advanced techniques of statistical analysis, especially stucture modelling and multilevel modelling.
- Learning outcomes
- Graduates of this course will be able to:
- perform complex statistical analyses that will allow them to formulate relevant (almost causal) conclusions about complex relationships between independent variables and their effects on the dependent variable;
- understand the results of analyses published in this way in contemporary sociological peridodicals;
- propose a research design that includes the above mentioned advanced methods of analysis. - Syllabus
