Course objectives
The course is the second of the compulsory seminars for the bachelor thesis, focusing on the preparation of the bachelor thesis project. The seminar is based on individual work of the student with the supervisor.
The output of the seminar is the bachelor thesis project, which, depending on its specific type, includes a developed theoretical exposition of the topic addressed (including the related context and anchoring the more general contribution of the thesis), a detailed methodological analysis and a timetable for the remaining activities.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- prepare a research on a specific topic and sort and critically evaluate the data and information obtained,
- apply the previously acquired theoretical and methodological knowledge in a thesis project.
Syllabus
  • 1. Review of theoretical and research literature.
  • 2. Contextual / thematic literature searches, reconnaissance of the media landscape in the case of product works.
  • 3. Formulation of the research problem / author's intention.
  • 4. Methodological literature review.
  • 5. Preparation and possible piloting of methodological/product design including choice of target medium.
  • 6. Preparation of the final version of the project.
