- Abstract
- Placement abroad is a course designed for Masaryk University doctoral degree students to transfer credits from internships abroad lasting at least 90 days. Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to gain experience and practical skills at foreign firms and research institutions; to extend knowledge within students' specialization as well as their language skills. Fulfillment conditions are determined by the Doctoral Board of the respective study program. The stay can be completed in one continuous period, or in the form of two to three shorter stays, each of which must last at least 30 days. For students in the combined (part-time) form of study, the required length of the stay abroad is reduced to 30 days; upon fulfilling this requirement, they will receive 7 credits.
