Course objectives
The course provides an introduction to psychology for lawyers.The course is divided into the following parts: psychological processes and states, personality, psychopathology and law, psychology of law(psychological data in course of legal application).And the end of the course students should be able to work with information on psychological processes and states including psychopathology and understand the use of knowledge of psychology in legal practice
Syllabus
  • Introduction to Psychology for Lawyers. An Individual and Law (psychological data in relation to legal application). Forensic Psychology (the subject, the structure). Legal Psychology (evidence, a victim,an eyewitness,a psychological expert, social perception in court, communication, interaction, the personality of a judge). Criminal Psychology (a criminal offender, a victim, sentencing. Prison Experience.

Written and oral examination.The written exam consists of eight open questions, for the succesful pass it is necessary to reach at least 50% of good respondes. In the oral part the result will be taken into consideration.
