Abstract
This B2-level course focuses on developing both written and oral communication skills in the context of German legal language. The course emphasizes formal, terminological, stylistic, and grammatical accuracy, as well as the structured use of legal argumentation in both written and spoken formats.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able to: compose formal, subject-specific letters and emails appropriately for legal contexts, communicate effectively in typical legal situations, such as interactions with clients, authorities, or colleagues, and formulate and present legal arguments in a clear and structured manner.

Colloquium is in the form of an written exam - write a formal letters. In addition students have to complete their assignments - minimum required is 70%.
