- Course objectives
- The basic aim of this subject is the explanation of historical development, aims and methods of europeisation of criminal law Council of Europe ane European Union). Presentations will be focused on analysis of law instruments of europeisation in comparison with international public law environment. At the end of the course students will find view of the European Criminal Law, will be able to orient in this legal system, analyse legal instruments and make deductions based on acquired knowledge about these legal institutions and instruments. New part of course will be devoted to The Office of European Public Prosecutor within EU member states and in The Czech Republic till the end of Year 2020 incl. amendments to CPC.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will be oriented in fundamental institutes of international co-operation in criminal matters as to trihr countriea as within EU. At the same time they will be able to appoint and to explain influences in criminal law within CE and EU. They will know key decisions of the European Court for Human Rights and the European Court of Justice in criminal law and procedure environment.

- Teaching methods
- The lectures are combine with seminars. Lectures are prepared in power point presentation that students receive in electronic version for theirs need after presentation. Seminars are interactive. It means that concrete aspects of criminal law are reflected to EU pillar structure and jurisprudence of European Court of Justice is presented and analysed in cooperation teacher - students. Co-operation with an external lecturer - public prosecutor of SPPO within presentation and seminar lecture.

- Education will be conducted by presentations and seminars, final coloquium (written essay from the presentations and seminars content).
