- Course objectives
- This course is aimed at providing basic knowledge of forensic psychiatry and psychology and their importance for criminal proceeding.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course the students should be able
to understand and explain basic notions
to understand importance of forensic psychiatry and psychologie for criminal proceedings
to understand basic aspects of mental conditions` examination
to understand basic methods of evaluating of witnesses` credibility - Syllabus
- Legal status of disordered people
- The basis od forensic psychiatry
- Selected problems of special psychiatry
- Conception of forensic psychology, psychology of examination and testimony
- Basic aspects of forensic psychology: credibility of testimony of children and adults, motiv of a crime
