Abstract
Student will be able to: - interpret basic information and training for handling acute health threatening situations. - manage on-site first aid, transportation, bandage and CPR in model situation; - diagnose and explain basic vital signs; - provide Basic Cardiac Life Support according to ERC guidelines from 2005 (on the models); - explain and provide first aid including wound dressing, transport, monitoring outside of hospital.

Completion of a log-book, including the elaboration and discussion of a clinical history. Student assessment: Exam 100% attendance, written knowledgw test, pratical examination.
