- Abstract
- Students learn the basics of Clinical Immunology and Allergology. Basics of diagnostic treatment. After completing this course the students will understand the basic mechanisms of immunity response like this he could understand how disability progress of immune system cause a different forms of immuno pathological diseases.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will understand basic mechanisms of functioning of the immune system both in the component of innate and adaptive immunity. The student will be acquainted with the most important mechanisms leading to immunopathological diseases. The student will understand the basic classification of immunopathological diseases

- Immunology and medicine. History of immunology. Cells and organs of immune system. Antigens. Development of immune reaction. Major histocompatibility complex (MHC). B lymphocytes and antibody production. Immunoglobulins. T lymphocytes and cellular immunity. Cytotoxicity. Defense mechanisms of immune system. Anti-infective immunity. Innate immunity. Allergy. Nutrition and immunity. Immunopathology. Immunodeficiency. Autoimmune diseases. Prevention, immunization and therapy. Laboratory investigation and methods.
