- Understanding of basic principles and aims of epidemiology of infectious diseases.
- Learning outcomes
- “The student will be able to understand the process of the epidemiological chain with all its implications for laboratory operations, health protection, occupational safety, and prevention.”

- 1. Principles and objectives of epidemiology. Process of disease spread. Characteristics of infectious agents. Classification of infectious diseases.
- 2. Anti-epidemic measures. Disease surveillance and epidemiological vigilance system.
