Syllabus
  • The properties of single particles, mole and molar quantities. Concentration of solutions, basic laboratory calculations.
  • TEST 1 (Basic laboratory calculus.). Dissociation of weak and strong electrolytes, activity of ions, osmotic pressure, osmolality.
  • Protolytic reactions, pH of acids and bases, buffers.
  • Intermolecular forces. Adsorption. Surfactants.
  • TEST 2 (Electrolytes, pH calculus). Oxidation-reduction, electrode potential.
  • Chemical properties of characteristic groups of carbon compounds.
  • TEST 3 (Organic compounds, nomenclature, structures, reactions). Chemistry of saccharides.
  • Properties of amino acids. Proteins, secondary and tertiary structures.
  • CREDIT TEST.
