Course objectives
The goal of clinical internships is the ability to apply the nursing process to patients in the ophthalmology department. Students will be able to: define the specifics of the nursing process in the eye department, identify the needs of the patients, formulate the nursing problems of the patients, and formulate nursing diagnoses, define the nursing care plan, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care and nursing interventions, evaluate the nursing care plan, documentation and recording changes in the status of patients according to the competencies of the students.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to: to understand the specifics and organization of care in ophthalmology to understand basic diagnoses in ophthalmology and their clinical manifestations to identify the needs of a patient with an ocular disorder provide nursing care to a patient with an ocular disorder.
