Course objectives
The course gives the necessary knowledge about the construction and operation equipment used in radiology - radiodiagnostic, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine. After completing the course students will be familiar and able to explain the issues of ionizing radiation, radiation detection methods for image creation, provide basic information about the individual components of the equipment and the types of equipment used in radiodiagnostic, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine. Finally, students will be familiar with the legislation.
Learning outcomes (in Czech)
Po absolvování předmětu budou studenti seznámeni a schopni vysvětlit problematiku zdrojů ionizujícího záření, způsoby detekce záření pro vznik obrazu, podat základní informace o funkci jednotlivých komponentů přístrojů a o druzích přístrojů užívaných v radiodiagnostice, radioterapii a nukleární medicíně. V neposlední řadě studenti budou znát platnou legislativu.
