Course objectives
After completing this practical exercise a student will be able to control tools and manufactory of simply corrective aids. The student will be able to judge, evaluate and support choice of the correction with right arguments.

Syllabus
  • introduction of Optical laboratory;breaking glass;breaking glass in shapes;breaking glass in shapes using patterns;cutting glass using the blade facet on ceramic cut;cutting glass using the blade facet on diamond cut;cutting glass using the blade facet into artificial centre of glasses;cutting glass using the blade facet into metal frame;movement of facet at strong plus lenses;cut lenses and warm correction of frames
