Course objectives
During this exercise, the student discusses and consults on issues related to the preparation of their thesis. The goal of the thesis is to demonstrate the student's ability to apply the theoretical knowledge gained during their studies to solve specific problems in healthcare practice, utilize insights from various subjects, evaluate interconnections, navigate professional literature, and work creatively with it within the framework of the assigned thesis topic. After consulting with their thesis supervisor, the student establishes the structure, timeline, methods of measurement, and processing of results for the chosen thesis topic. The thesis is evaluated by both the supervisor and an opponent. The opponent, who is appointed by mutual agreement with the coordinator of the relevant field, assesses the thesis in terms of content, methodology, and formal aspects. The student submits the thesis in two copies by a predetermined deadline, with a length of 80 - 100 pages. The thesis defense is part of the final state examination.
