- Course objectives
- This subject is connected to theoretical knowledge from surgery and is run with trainee-ships in clinical stations. Subject objective is surgical client problems identification, orientation in reasons, symptoms, diagnostic a therapeutic procedures of selected surgical diseases, which appear most often, including orientation in differential diagnostic of problems on a borderland of gynaecology and surgery. Subject matter is focused on basic and specific nursing care for surgical patients (examination methods, therapeutic procedures, pre- and post surgical care, education, specialised care for drains, care for acute and chronic wounds). Learning outcomes - student will be able to: - explain and identify symptoms of specialized surgical cases; - assess problems of woman with surgical disease; - interpret diagnostic and therapeutic activities in a field of surgery; - manage professionally and emphatically pre and post surgical care for client (including wound care and drain care); - apply theoretic knowledge of wound healing into day to day practice;
- Learning outcomes
- The Student will after completing the course able to: take care of the woman in the perioperative period; to assist in převazu the wound aseptic and septic; to care for a woman with a stoma.

- Module subject: Nursing process for client: - in pre surgical stage; - in intra surgical stage; - in post surgical stage; - care for wound, healing of acute and chronic wounds; - with urological disease; - with gastrointestinal disease; - with acute abdominal incident; - with stoma; - with hepatic disease, bilious and pancreatic disease;
