Course objectives
After completing the course, students should understand the principles of hygiene and epidemiology of non-communicable and communicable diseases and their prevention. They should know in detail the main determinants in general, and specifically in relation to dental health as well as due to dental work. They can distinguish relevant from irrelevant influences. In terms of infectious epidemiology must know the basics, the basic principles of the spread of diseases, but also very specific approaches to inhibiting transfer of dental work. All of these skills to be able to practically implement and adequately passed on in the form of advice.
