Course objectives
The subject follows the subject of professional practice in emergency care and the components of the IRS. It is significant part of the study program. It allows the application of theoretical knowledge in clinical conditions workplaces. Expands knowledge of special diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Provides space to improve skills, skills and habits. It teaches students autonomy, responsibility and teamwork. Students work under the supervision of clinicians in accredited workplaces.

- acquiring the ability to use acquired knowledge in a crisis situation,

- training of swimming techniques necessary for the rescue of drowning,
- To gain the ability to estimate the degree of your physical and professional abilities.

  • Workplace:
  • 1) Emergency Medical Service
  • 2) non-medical component of the IRS
  • 3) The course will focus on water rescue service
  • 4) Legislation and prevention tactics, principles of hydrology, and special types of rescues.

Teaching methods
The student works in accredited contractual health care facilities, at workplaces designated by the school plan, under the supervision of a supervisor/mentor of professional practice. Practical active participation is expected in all activities in which the student will participate as a member of a team of non-medical healthcare professionals.
Assessment methods
Evaluation of student achievement : transmission of the acknowledgment of the power and scope of practice and evaluation of exposed health facility where the student has done work experience , in each block processing and transmission of essay content focused on comprehensive nursing care in the IP or prehospital emergency care. Expected scope of work is up to 8 to 10 pages. 100% participation, meet the requirements of final exams.
