Course objectives
The aim of the course is to practically familiarize students with the principles and procedures of preimplantation genetic testing.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to: Propose the use of appropriate genetic testing methods Practically perform some methods Interpret the results of genetic testing
Syllabus
  • Preparation of embryos for biopsy and technique execution (polar body biopsy, blastomere biopsy, trophectoderm biopsy) Technical aspects of performing PGT Practical training in basic genetic analysis techniques (karyotyping, FISH, PCR) Demonstration of special genetic analysis techniques (NGS, aCGH, Karyomapping) Interpretation of genetic test results

Teaching methods
