Abstract
Independent work with patients corresponding to the already achieved bachelor's degree in physiotherapy. The Summer Professional Practice (SPP) lasts 4 weeks (20 working days, 160 hours), the students' working hours are 8.5 hours per day, and the start time can be adjusted to the needs of the rehabilitation facility.

Approaches, practices, and methods used in teaching
We recommend that the practice not be split in terms of time, i.e., it should be a continuous 4-week period of work, and the choice of the workplace should be aligned with the topic of the master’s thesis (this is not mandatory).
The student selects a healthcare facility of their own choice that will provide the practice free of charge. Neither the faculty nor the facility pays the students for their practice.
We recommend the practice to be a continuous four-week period.
The practice can also be divided into two parts (two separate two-week periods) at the same or different healthcare facilities.
The practice must be contractually secured in advance by a valid Framework Agreement between the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University (LF MU), and the given facility. Subsequently, a Practice Agreement is created, which the student arranges directly with the facility on their own behalf.
If the student chooses a facility that does not yet have a Framework Agreement with LF MU, the responsible person at that facility should be put in contact with the LF MU Study Department (Tereza Bednaříková; phone: +420 549 49 7179; email: bednarikova@med.muni.cz).
Without this agreement, the student cannot undertake the practice.

Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
The condition for awarding the credit is 100% attendance for the entire practice and submission of confirmation of completion from all facilities. Credit will be granted upon: Approved requests from the practice facilities (by the end of May 2026). Confirmation of 100% attendance at the practice (from – to, stamp and signature of the contracting facility) and a positive evaluation of your work; form available in IS MU.
Submission of a seminar paper from the Summer Continuous Practice I, which describes its course, personal insights, observations, and the student’s work, including a processed case study of a patient the student personally worked with.
Submission no later than one week after the practice ends; the deadline for all papers is the last Friday before the start of the 3rd semester at the clinic’s secretariat. After this date, it is no longer possible to register the credit.
Conditions for completing the course:
I ask all students to respect the deadlines.
Confirmation of attendance from all practice facilities must be submitted no later than the last Friday before the start of the 3rd semester.
