Abstract

The subject Anatomy II - lecture introduces students to splanchnology, the nervous system and the senses. For embryology, attention is focused mainly on the respiratory system, the excretory system, the female and male reproductive systems. Understanding the vascular supply and innervation of the above-mentioned organ systems is also important. The lectures are concluded with the topography of the abdominal and pelvic cavities in order to clarify the relationships of the individual organs in these cavities. The knowledge presented in the subject Anatomy II. - lecture is a necessary basis for the subsequent subjects of gynecology and obstetrics. The subject Anatomy II - lecture introduces students to splanchnology, the nervous system and the senses. Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. Describe the cardiovascular system, sensory organs (eye, ear), and both the peripheral and central nervous systems using valid anatomical nomenclature.
  2. Explain the significance of the studied systems.
  3. Utilize the acquired theoretical knowledge to understand the course of individual vessels and the placement of organs in the cardiovascular and nervous systems, as well as the senses.
  4. Characterize the topographical relationships between the organs of the cardiovascular and nervous systems and other anatomical structures.
  5. Summarize all knowledge of human anatomy acquired in previous studies.
  6. Assess the interrelationships between the studied organ systems.

Key topics
  1. Urogenital system. Male genital system
  2. Female genital system. Pelvic floor
