- Abstract
- This subject is organised in cooperation with regional hospitals and enables students to gain practical experience in the routine operation of internal departments and outpatient clinics.
- Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
- understands the structure and organisation of an internal department;
- is prepared for initial patient contact in an internal clinical setting;
- demonstrates basic communication skills when interacting with patients and their relatives in an internal medicine department;
- recognises and appropriately responds to acute situations encountered in an internal department.
