Abstract
This subject is organised in cooperation with regional hospitals and enables students to gain practical experience in the routine operation of internal departments and outpatient clinics.
Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course, the student:

  • understands the structure and organisation of an internal department;
  • is prepared for initial patient contact in an internal clinical setting;
  • demonstrates basic communication skills when interacting with patients and their relatives in an internal medicine department;
  • recognises and appropriately responds to acute situations encountered in an internal department.
