- At the end of this course, students should be able to:
- understand fundamental knowledge of matter and chemical substances structure,
- understand fundamental relations between chemical substances` structure and their chemical and physical-chemical properties,
- understand fundamental knowledge of chemical bonding and of chemical substances` phase states. - Syllabus

theoretical preparation - Assessment methods
- Oral exam following after written test.
Written test: examples on theory and calculations (20 examples in 60 minutes).
The condition of oral exam is to solve at least 14 examples of this written test correctly.
If the students receive at least 80 % points in partial tests in the subject Seminar in General Chemistry, they do not have to do the written test before the oral exam. - Language of instruction
