The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
At the end of the courses DEp1DI and DEp2DI students should be able to professionalize historical education of the graduate. Didactics prepares the student to manage the teacher`s job. The education is focused on learning how to use knowledge of common didactics and clarifying the historical education speciality.

  • 14. Introduction to pedagogical research and its use in history teachers` theoretical work
  • 15. New trends in didactics of history and in school subject history

Teaching methods
Lectures in combination with seminar classwork.
Assessment methods
Oral exam.The course consists of weekly seminar sessions and lectures. The weekly seminar sessions students regular and active participation is expected. Students must prepare a presentation (20 minutes long).
