Abstract
Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to learn basic safety rules and rules of work in the chemical laboratory; to learn basic practical skills in the chemical laboratory; to correctly implement basic laboratory operations and to control selected working process;  through this subject, students prepare for all subsequent laboratory exercises; to correctly elaborate protocols and notes about the chemical laboratory experiment.
Learning outcomes
After finishing of course the student will be able: to learn basic safety rules and rules of work in the chemical laboratory; to learn basic practical skills in the chemical laboratory. to correctly implement basic laboratory operations and to control selected working process; to correctly elaborate protocols and notes about the chemical laboratory experiment.

Requirements:
participation in 80% of exercises;

Assessment of knowledge through four written tests (covering 4 thematic units: Laboratory Glassware, Occupational Safety, Laboratory Apparatus 1 and 2); a minimum score of 80% is required to pass.
