Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follows:
to practically prove the basic characteristics of the biochemical compounds and methodical advancements for its study and enzyme analytical improvement
practical performance and prove of qualitative and quantitative reactions of carbohydrate, lipids, amino-acids, proteins, nucleic acids and enzymes
to practically and expertly present own laboratory work and results
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of this course the student will gain:  knowledge of acquiring basic habits and skills in conducting experiments in the biochemistry laboratory and achieving as accurate and accurate as possible the results of practical analyzes of samples  Skills and skills for performing practical experiments in an biochemistry laboratory

  • Preparation and identification of lipids in egg yolk
  • Verification and chromatography separation of leaf pigments
  • Characteristic reactions of amino acids and proteins
  • Verification of amino acids and peptide
  • Amino acids paper chromatography
  • Separation of proteins
  • Separation and properties of nucleic acids
  • Enzyme reaction temperature dependency
  • Verification of proteins
  • Ezyme substrate specification
  • Enzyme activity determination
  • Kinetics of enzyme reaction
