- Course objectives
- This course will help the students to apply the principles of TEYL. They will observe and analyse examples of teaching practice. They will prepare materials for teaching and pilot them in the lessons. They will learn how to give constructive feedback to their peers.
Aims:
to support confidence in teaching in YL classes
to reflect on one´s teaching
to accept and give constructive feedback
to plan lessons and activities collaboratively and individually - Learning outcomes
- Students will be able to plan for, design, critically evaluate and deliver individual activities. They will be able to plan a whole lesson withing a framework of a long-term plan. They will be able to take into account the different types of syllabi suited for young and very young learners, prepare a long-term plan and several lessons in detail which they will teach to a group of children.
