Course objectives
The main goal of the course is to teach the students the goals of European and Czech language and language education policy in the European and Czech context, to expand their language teaching knowledge and to develop their didactic competence.
Learning outcomes
The student is able: a) to describe language policies and rules related to education, identify the principles of modern foreign language teaching and analyze curricular documents; b) to put the theoretical knowledge of language teaching methods into practice; c) to plan and prepare lessons; d) to take the principles of individualization and differentiation into account when planning lessons; e) to think about your own lessons and to develop self-reflection.

Principles of modern foreign language teaching, intercultural aspects 4. Preparation of a lesson unit 5. Classroom formats (learning in stops, cooperating learning) 6. Náhradní absolvování
Students on a study abroad program will have their ISP (Individual Study Plan) recognized, and they will be allowed to fulfill the requirements (after agreement with the instructors at the beginning of each semester) through distance learning. Possible recognition of the course (for a course at the host university) should be discussed with the lecturer before the start of the semester.
