Abstract
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the effective ways of realization of individual themes of civic education.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to explain the principles of experiential education, active listening and apply them to teaching of civics, characterize key themes of civics and describe possibilities of their implementation in relation to the corresponding cross-cutting themes.

  • Weeks 1–2: Using teaching aids in social studies classes; differentiated instruction
  • Week 3: Applying Critical Thinking in Civic Education.
  • Weeks 4–9: Issues and applications of selected outcomes of the Framework Educational Program (FEP) and the new FEP in civic education, using a blended teaching approach.
