- Abstract
- The aim of subject is to get basic knowledge from the area of Special Education - preschool education. To focuse on the process of education pupils with special needs education. The student will know basic terminology and legislation of subject.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the subject the student will acquire the basic terminology of the field; will be oriented in legislative measures related to the education of children and pupils with special educational needs; it will focus on the different types of disability in pre-school age children.
- Key topics
- Now days conception of Special Education, the system of pre-school care about children with handicap, integration, inclusion, legislation. Basic terminology, categories, methods of Special Education - preschool education. Etiology, classification of disabilities, possibilities of rehabilitation, aplication on children of preschool age. The Framework of Preschool Education. The prevention, areas of Special Education Diagnosis of preschool children.

- Approaches, practices, and methods used in teaching
- Form of teaching Seminar - will be supplemented with documentary films, discussions on the topic, a lecture by a practicing expert, etc.
- Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
- Seminar - participation 75%. Written test (75% correct answers) - for successful ending Elaboration of a seminar work on the topic - experience from the education of children with SEN in kindergarten; elaboration of a case study of a child with SEN in kindergarten. The seminar work will be submitted to the submission room of the subject in IS.
