Course objectives
The aim of the course is to demonstrate the model region of Czechia and in practice show and check the knowledge gained in lectures and seminars from partial physical-geographic disciplines. Students will be acquainted with the natural conditions of the model area, its economic use and settlement conditions. Students will understand the situation in the visited region. Their tasks will consist in the purpose assessment of the territory and mapping of examples of selected phenomena in individual natural components in the territory with respect to human activities (harmful natural processes, inappropriate use, threatened by human activities).
